About

Birgit C Muller

Birgit C. Muller is a visionary designer whose career spans continents, industries, and creative disciplines. Born in Vienna and raised in the sun-drenched landscapes of Marbella, Spain, her early exposure to the world of high fashion—attending exclusive Christian Dior private shows and learning from a fashion-conscious family—set the stage for a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and design.

After completing her studies in journalism, publicity, and promotion in London, and earning a Television Direction and Production diploma from the BBC’s Television Training Academy, Birgit embarked on a journey that would bridge the worlds of media and fashion. Her career began as an assistant beauty and teen fashion editor for the German Conde Nast publication Miss Vogue, and she quickly advanced to stylist roles at celebrated publications like Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Elle. This early foundation propelled her into the heart of the U.S. entertainment industry, where she contributed her creative talents to major studios—including Paramount, Sony, Disney, and Universal—working alongside acclaimed directors such as William Friedkin, David Lynch, Michael Bay, Francis Ford Coppola, and Ridley Scott.

In 2001, Birgit joined CBS’s iconic daytime series The Bold and the Beautiful, where her innovative costume designs earned her multiple Emmy nominations and wins. Her distinctive ability to blend trendsetting vision with timeless elegance has not only redefined costume design in television but also allowed her to continually reinvent her own line of couture designer gowns.

Awards & Nominations

Beyond her creative achievements, Birgit is deeply committed to philanthropy. In 2004, she partnered with the City of Hope following a personal family health challenge, and her leadership helped raise over $800,000 for cancer research—efforts that were honored with the prestigious Circle of Hope Award in 2005. In 2006, she further expanded her impact by founding The Three Doves Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting natural disaster relief, disease prevention, and cure.

Today, based in Beverly Hills, California, Birgit continues to push creative boundaries. As a celebrated designer, she also serves as a brand ambassador for British luxury furniture designer Christopher Guy Harrison, a celebrity judge for the annual Christopher Guy Harrison BritWeek Design Award challenge, and the Co-Executive Producer of Miss Liberty America—a reality pageant celebrating the Constitution, liberty, and the American way.

Driven by an enduring commitment to innovation, timeless style, and humanitarian causes, Birgit C. Muller remains a dynamic force in fashion and television, inspiring audiences and industry professionals alike with her extraordinary vision and relentless passion for excellence.
